We are pleased to announce that Michael Della Fortuna has been appointed the Director of Quality for The Mircom Group of Companies reporting to Mark Falbo EVP, and Executive Management.  In this role Michael will oversee Quality Control and ISO functions as well as the RMA Department (including Montreal & Niagara RMA operations) and Technical Support.

This position is a natural fit for Michael who has held a Director of Corporate Quality and Global Service Manager position in the past.  Michael can also pull from his experiences as a Director of Business Development & Marketing to help develop processes that strengthen not only our product quality but the quality of the support services that are a value add for any organization.

Michael will be working closely with both Rocco Mastromartino and Laurie Eisner in the execution of quality programs that directly impact their departments as well as with the VP of Sales and Branch Managers to address field issues.

Having a group of strong individuals reporting into a separate Quality Function is something that Mircom feels will greatly benefit the organization.  A focus on and the execution of quality initiatives will help strengthen our position in the marketplace and better support our efforts for profitable growth.

We are all excited about the formalization of this department and look forward to the introduction of a variety of Quality initiatives in the upcoming year.
